GEBTA Members

GEBTA consists of national Guilds with over 300 Members in 7 different countries. These national guilds are Active Members of GEBTA and are represented in the Board of Directors.

But GEBTA enjoys also special relations with its Allied and Associated Members.

 
 

Active Members
Eligible as Active Member of GEBTA is any national Guild of business travel agents of a European country. There may only be one Guild per country.

Each Active Member is represented in the Board of Directors and the General Assembly, which take all strategic and administrative decisions of the associations.

Allied Members
Eligible as Allied Member is any company carrying out the activity of business travel agent in more than one European country and which is member of the national Guilds of the countries, in which it is established, as far as a Guild exists in these countries.

The Allied Members can participate in the Advisory Board of Allied Members, the objective of which is to enable them to discuss with the Active Members all matters of common interest to the business travel industry in relation to European & International affairs.

The Allied Members designate among themselves a representative with a voting right in the Board of Directors.

Associated Members
The Board of Directors may invite commercial partners of business travel agents to become associate Members of the association.

The Associate Member has no voting right in the General Assembly nor in the Board of Directors.

Associate Members can participate in the Advisory Board of Associate Members, which brings together the Associate and Active Members with the objective of discussing the latest developments in European affairs having an impact on the industry and all othe matters of particular interest.
