Improving rail distribution
EU Regulation 454/2011 on the Telematics Applications for Passenger Services Technical Specifications for Interoperability (TAP TSI) foresees the definition of European-wide procedures and interfaces between all types of railway industry actors to provide information to passengers and issue rail tickets. GEBTA participates in the implementation of TAP TSI.
In parallel to the TAP TSI, GEBTA works with railway undertakings, CRSs and specialised rail distributors towards an efficient and cost-effective end-to-end rail distribution system.
